Bethanie Waters is a modern facility with areas for those needing a dementia friendly secure environment. Rooms have ensuites and are furnished with a specialised care bed, over-bed table, and built-in wardrobe, and offer an outlook over gardens or a central courtyard. Residents move between small private areas, dining rooms, lounges with tea and coffee facilities, the small shop, café or hairdresser. Residents are supported by caring staff and services including clinical nursing care, personal care, medication monitoring, therapy services (physiotherapy and occupational therapy), laundry and room cleaning. Bethanie has visiting GPs, a Dementia Consultant and a Nurse Practitioner to provide support when required. An extensive activity program supports residents to remain active and pursue their personal interests. Quality dining is assured with our on-site chef working with residents to deliver meals of choice. There is also respite available here on a limited basis.
